Forgetting The Pains Of The Past
If you are pregnant now or if childbirth is a not so distant memory surely you can vividly recall the pains of pregnancy. You may recollect “morning sickness” that did not leave when the morning was over. For many the torture takes place at night, interrupting your sleep. These nighttime complications can take many forms like leg cramps, heartburn, frequent trips to the potty or just being forced to give up your favorite sleep positions. Though experiences can vary the pain and discomfort is real.
Although I experienced many of these symptoms, it was a back injury (pregnancy related) that still haunts me.The lower part of my back dislocated causing extreme pain with every step.I didn’t want to move, but with two other babies, that was not really a choice.
Whatever your complication, rest assured the memory of the pain will fade quickly. The memory of the first time you held your child will overwhelm the memory of 16 hours of labor.Way sooner than you would expect, you will find yourself contemplating another trip down that baby road.Even now, only 4 months after the birth of my daughter I often entertain the idea of doing it all over again.Because, beyond all negatives looking into the eyes of your child makes it all worth it
